How to practise this subject

These practice suggestions are editorial guidance from Australian Study Resources.

  1. Use a food or dietary example to explain the role of a nutrient. Relate the explanation to a stated person or context.
  2. Compare two food choices using relevant nutritional evidence. Explain why a single nutrient or label may be insufficient for the decision.
  3. Interpret a food or nutrition claim by examining its supporting evidence. State the claim’s limits and identify information needed to judge it.
  4. Record the specific point you missed, write a corrected response, and attempt another question that requires the same skill. Check older material against your current course before reusing it.

Plan your next practice session

Choose one explanation from your practice sequence. Separate what was observed from the explanation you propose, then identify a condition or limitation that affects the conclusion.
